Zac Rossiter (he/him)
@zacrosso
Zac is a freelance illustrator currently working from his attic in Headingley. After graduating in Illustration in 2020, he fell in love with depicting local scenes as it made him feel more grounded and aware of his community. His work is influenced by his colour blindness. He struggles to differentiate yellow and green, blue and purple and pink, gray or white, but he feels this unique perspective helps him paint more intuitively. As a gay man, he has a special interest in featuring LGBTQ+ spaces in his prints as well as working with local charities for fundraising and awareness events.
We’re fans of Zac’s work as we loving seeing our favourite local spaces depicted in such a unique way. His work highlights why these spaces are so special to us here in Leeds.

Arthur Kearns (They/them)
Arthur is a 2020 illustration graduate from Birmingham City University. They love drawing cats doing things and characters wearing fun clothes. They previously worked only in black and white, but since trying out procreate they’ve have fallen back in love with colouring, and enjoy using warm and bright colours. They have a wonderful Etsy shop where they sell prints of their work, and they hope to illustrate children’s books in the future.
We’re big fans of Arthur’s autumnal colour palette and they way they play around with proportions in their characters. The unrefined nature of the pencil lines in their artwork adds a unique and playful touch to their illustrations.
