As you are probably already aware we stock a delightful range of FSC certified papers. We are very proud of our FSC certification and we want you to be too. If you want to shout out your choice by including their logo on your print, follow our guide on getting it right as there are strict do’s & don’ts when it comes to logo placement.
How do I add the logo to my artwork?
Having a 100% recycled or partly recycled FSC certified paper will affect the logo you need to use. We’ve made this step really simple for you, all you need to do is download the FSC logo placeholder and work it into your design – we’ll then add the correct logo for you.
We kindly request that you write a quick order note at checkout when placing your order, just letting the artwork team know that you have included a placeholder for an FSC logo.

Where should I put the logo?
There must be enough clear space surrounding your placeholder to ensure the design remains uncluttered. We have factored this into the margins around the placeholder for you! It can be made larger or smaller, however the proportions can’t be changed. The minimum logo width is 9mm and for the best visibility, or if you’d like the FSC logo to stand out, we’d recommend a width of 17mm.
Can adding the FSC logo affect my delivery date?
All orders featuring a logo will require approval. This process is usually very quick, but it can add a couple of extra days onto your production time.
Does my design need to get approved each time it goes to print?
No. Once approved you can continue to use the designs going forward, however if you change the positioning of the logo or the content of the design, it would need to be resent for approval.
Do I need to use an FSC logo?
No. You don’t need to. However, if you are mentioning that your paper choice is FSC certified within your design without having a logo or registered trademark – we will ask you to amend your design. Any mention of FSC in your design should be ‘FSC®’.
Can I get this logo printed by another company?
No, it can only be printed with us and no one else. The logo placed onto your artwork is specific to PRINT.WORK.
Not quite sure what FSC means?
The Forest Stewardship Council® is a nonprofit organisation that manages forests across the world. Their goal is to preserve biodiversity whilst benefiting the local communities and workers in a economically viable way.
Being FSC certified means you are part of their chain of custody, this allows tracking of FSC materials from forest to the customer. As a company we are audited annually to make sure we are compliant with their strict practices and why it’s essential you are using the logo correctly for the paper you’ve selected.
